4. User Accounts and Security

Latch is a non-custodial protocol. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your blockchain wallet and private keys. We do not store your private keys or have the ability to recover them.

You are solely responsible for:

• Safeguarding your private keys and wallet credentials;
• All activities that occur through your wallet;
• Any losses resulting from lost or compromised private keys or wallet access.

5. Risks and Disclaimers

5.1 Protocol Risks

Using Latch involves significant risks, including but not limited to:

• Volatility of Digital Assets;
• Smart contract vulnerabilities and technical risks;
• Regulatory and legal uncertainties;
• Cross-chain bridge and interoperability risks;
• Potential loss of funds due to protocol exploits or failures.

5.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee the performance of Latch or any returns on your Digital Assets. All protocol activities are conducted at your own risk. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Latch, including software, code, interfaces, content, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our intellectual property except as necessary to use the Services.
